Advocacy ~ The chamber is the community’s leading advocate and champion for business. Its primary objective is to create a climate of growth and success in our community. 

Business Directory ~ Chamber members receive a free listing in The Business Directory, a high quality publication. It is made available to all Chenango County residents, distributed in all relocation packets, placed in all local hotel rooms and is also distributed throughout the year at a number of events and locations. It is used by many to locate products and services. Members also have an opportunity to place ads in the publication.  This publication will be available in hard copy format as well as online. 

Business Referrals ~ the Chamber receives several calls daily asking for referrals and it is our policy to only refer Chamber members 

Certificate of Origins ~ a Certificate of Origin, certified by Commerce Chenango, says that to the best of our knowledge and belief, the product named on the document originated in the United States. We certify the document with a signature and seal. This service is free to members and $10.00 per certificate for non-members.

Committees ~ as with most organizations, the more effort you put into the Chamber, the more you will benefit from it. As members become more involved in Chamber committees, they are given a chance to have an impact on the business environment in the Chenango County area, help their business, and make excellent contacts.

Community Support ~ Get involved in Your Chamber and give back to the community by becoming knowledgeable about business issues and active in local projects. Your employees and your customers will thank you for your efforts.

Consumer Confidence ~ Chamber membership tells your customers that you are a reputable company that actively participates in the local business community. Members are encouraged to display our Commerce Chenango membership decal at their business locations, on company materials and in their advertisements as an integral part of their marketing. 

Dental Insurance ~ Access to full dental care insurance for yourself and your employees is available.

Employee of the Month Program ~ Businesses submit nominations to the Chamber for review and upon selection the recipient receives great prizes and publicity in The Evening Sun.

Energy Program ~ Significant savings on your energy bills.

Events ~ The Chamber holds monthly, quarterly and yearly events where members are able to socialize in a comfortable atmosphere, whether it be at a monthly Business After Hours, a quarterly Luncheon or at one of our annual events such as the Summer Golf Event.  Awards are also periodically given to Chamber members at events throughout the year.Health Insurance ~  Access to group plans for yourself and your employees, and the latest on legislative efforts at the state and federal level and advocacy on healthcare reform.

Weekly & Monthly Publications ~ The monthly newsletter, with a circulation of over 600 is a direct link between Commerce Chenango and its members. It includes messages from the President/CEO, upcoming Chamber events, updates on community and governmental concerns, articles, new member and member-in-the-news highlights.  The weekly Chamber Memo is filled with Member Good News, current hot topics, dates of upcoming events and workshops.
