New Berlin
The Village of New Berlin has a quaint downtown that is enjoyed by many in Chenango County. With annual events such as New Berlin Youth Days and the nearby Unadilla Valley Motorsports' MX Weekend, New Berlin draws thousands of visitors each year. New Berlin is also home to Preferred Manor, a historic landmark and bed and breakfast.
With the Town of New Berlin being home to Preferred Mutual Insurance Co., Golden Artist Colors, Inc., and Agro-Farma, Inc., New Berlin's downtown benefits from the presence of a large workforce and several small, locally owned businesses to serve them.
Also calling New Berlin home is Milford Academy, a nationally recognized acedemy with a focus on preparing student football atheletes both academically and physically for entry into college level programs, and at times, pro teams. The presence of Milford Academy in downtown New Berlin has a large economic impact, bringing students and their families.
